After a warm farewell from all the Chinese members we set out for Guilin by bus, a 9 hour trip. It seems the earlier teams ride was much better since the later group nearly had 4 fatal crashes- due to puppies in the road, insane men on mopeds crossing the road or other cars.
At last we made it to Guilin alive, thank god. On the road we took a lot of pictures of mountains that stood out of the ground like tall buildings or needles, and the sun never seemed to set as we followed it west- as if it wanted to see us a while longer…
